It's time for the 2026 PTO's Halloween Spooktacular!
This year, to increase the number of trick-or-treating stations the kids can visit on their journey through the gym, we have changed to a model with HOMEROOM-sponsored tables, instead of HOUSE-sponsored tables. Therefore, we ask that each homeroom be responsible for setting up a table at the Spooktacular Trick-or-Treating event. This can be coordinated by your homeroom parents or it may be assigned to someone else to coordinate.
No matter what, this should NOT be an independent project. Students and parents in each classroom should collaborate on the table's design. You can create an Amazon wish list or Target registry to request support from families in the class, including the candy. Please be sure to have NUT FREE candy for 500 kids!
You will have an assigned space in the gym with your homeroom teacher's name on it. If you need to borrow a table from the school, please let Lauren Bixler know @ lluchsin@gmail.com by October 16. If you need electricity for your table, we will try our best to accommodate, but this cannot be guaranteed. Again, if you need electricity for your table, email Lauren lluchsin@gmail.com by October 16 with your needs,
There are only a few rules regarding the table decorations:
- NO glitter or paint
- NO smoke or fog machines
Outside of that, get creative and have fun! You don't need a Pinterest-worthy table! Prizes will be awarded in several categories: Fan Favorite, School Spirit, Funniest, Most Interactive, Most Creative and Best Use of Upcycled Materials.
While it is important to include your homeroom teacher's name somewhere on your table so we can identify you at the event, please SIGN UP on this sheet to let us know who will be the MAIN COORDINATOR from your room.
Not interested in working at a table? We have plenty of other volunteer opportunities available to help support our event!
